Welcome to StampsConnect!
StampsConnect is a social networking website created by the Calgary Stampeders to give the #1 fans in the CFL a platform to share their favourite Stampeder moments with other fans! Your videos, photos and tweets will help make StampsConnect the most engaging social website in the CFL. Be sure to visit StampsConnect regularly for exclusive content from the Calgary Stampeders as well as information on great promotions and contests!
Here's how you can join the conversation:
Videos
The Videos page on StampsConnect is made up of exclusive, behind the scenes content added by the Calgary Stampeders, Calgary Stampeder Outriders and you....the fans! Want to see your personal Stampeder videos on StampsConnect? Here's how you do it:
The first thing you need to do is log in to your YouTube account. If you don't have a YouTube account, you can get one by clicking here (http://www.youtube.com/create_account)
Once you are logged in to YouTube, upload your favourite Stampeder videos using the instructions provided by YouTube.
After you upload the video, it will ask you to add "tags" to the video. This is the important part! Make sure you "tag" the video with calstampeders.
Give it a few minutes (it takes a few minutes for StampsConnect to recognize your video and pull it in). Once StampsConnect recognizes the calstampeders tag, you'll be the star of the show!
The Twitter page contains tweets by Calgary Stampeder players, Calgary Stampeder Outrider cheerleaders and you.....the fans! Official Stampeder tweets will be highlighted with a red logo watermark image to make it easy to follow your favourite Stampeder players and cheerleaders. Want to join the live conversation with other passionate Stampeder fans? Here's how you do it:
You can log in to your Twitter account right on the StampsConnect Twitter page. If you don't have a Twitter account, you can get one by clicking here (http://twitter.com/)
Once you are logged in at the StampsConnect Twitter page, you can tweet the exact same way you would from any Twitter client. There is no need to add the #calstampeders hashtag when you tweet right from StampsConnect.
Everything you tweet there will automatically show up in the StampsConnect Twitter feed.
If you are tweeting from a Twitter client outside of StampsConnect, just make sure you add the #calstampeders
hashtag to see your tweets in the StampsConnect Twitter feed.
Photos

The first thing you need to do is log in to your Flickr account. If you don't have a Flickr account, you can get one by clicking here. (http://www.flickr.com/)
Once you are logged in to Flickr, upload your favourite Stampeder photos using the instructions provided by Flickr.
After you upload the photo, it will ask you to add "tags" to the photo. This is the important part! Make sure you "tag" the photo with calstampeders.
Give it a few minutes (it takes a few minutes for StampsConnect to recognize your photo and pull it in). Once StampsConnect recognizes the calstampeders tag, you'll be the star of the show!
**If you do not have a flickr account you can still e-mail your photos (limit 3 at a time) to stampsconnect@stampeders.com to have them show up on StampsConnect. Simply put the title of the photo in the subject line of the email and a short description of the photo in the body of the message.
Facebook Connect
Facebook Connect makes it easier for you to take your online identity with you to StampsConnect, share what you do on StampsConnect with your friends and stay updated on what they're doing. You won't have to create a separate account for StampsConnect, just use your Facebook login and you are ready to comment and share your experience with all of your Facebook friends. Here's what you need to do to get started:
Log in with your Facebook account to comment on videos and photos on StampsConnect. Any time you make a comment on a video or photos, you will be given the options to share your comment with your friends by having it show up on your Facebook wall.
Once you are logged in, you can also invite your Facebook friends to join the fun by clicking on the "Invite Friends" link in the top right corner of StampsConnect.
